Closing in on 100 pound rear delt raises
Nailed 3 strong sets of rear delt raises on each side with 93 pounds. Felt good. 100 pounders are coming soon.
Dealing with the frustration of a tough night of presses
Because of my frustration with my military presses last nigh, immediately after finishing my final set I jumped on the wall and cranked out 25 handstand push ups. Felt a little better after that.

A hard night for pressing. Struggled hard for my 4 sets of triples with 185 pounds.

Iron Cross Pumps are coming nicely
From this morning's practice, the final set of Iron Cross Pumps on the rings. I love this movement and it feels like it's coming along rather nicely.
A "Just Because" Story About Maxick
So, just for fun one day, Maxick (weighing about 147 pounds) held a beer in his left hand and proceeded to 1-arm overhead press his 190 pound manager (Tromp Van Diggler) 18 times in a row. Without spilling a drop of his beverage. After words he ran up a few flights of stairs with Tromp still in the 1-arm overhead press position. More reasons to love the old school.

One of the 2 new combos I started working on this week on the parallets. Love this combo. L-sit to handstand to bent-arm lever to l-sit. Awesome stuff. I'll admit it, by the 5sth set I totally half assed the handstand, lol.

Bodyweight dips
Went back to basics for tonight's training. Nailed 4 sets of 40 reps for bodyweight dips followed by 4 sets of 10 for body flies on the Jungle Gym, 6 sets of chest isometrics, 3 sets of triceps isometrics and finished off with a good and strong isometric midsection session. Straddle Planche Push Up variation
This morning I hit some good muscle ups, different entries to handstands, handstand forward rolls to back extension handstands, Russian jumps, pike jumps 360 and 720 jumps, 100 back of wrist push ups, 100 pull ups, 100 lunges, some hand extender work and 5 strong sets of these. Awesome practice
Some Handstand Push Up Fun
Changed it up a little bit for tonight's training. Instead of hitting 100 reps of either BTN strict presses or Military presses, I thought I'd race to 100 with handstand push ups. Got my reps in with 4 sets of 25. Here's the final, and the sloppiest, set. After this, I finished off the night with 6 sets of Leiderman's presses, 3 sets of isometric work for the rear delts, 3 sets of isometric work for the biceps and a good and tough isometric session for the midsection. Great training night.

1-arm triple clap push ups
For this morning's practice I hit 5 sets of muscle ups, 5 sets of handstand work, 2 sets of front flips, 2 sets in each direction of 1/2 floor circles, 100 back of wrist push ups, 80 lunges, and 5 sets of these, the triple clap 1-arm push up. Here's the 5th set, by this time they got a little sloppy, lol. A great morning practice though.
Morning Punch Tuck Front Flips
What do you do when it's cold and rainy outside and you can't go out to tumble. You practice your punch tuck front flips inside. Here's the final set of these from this morning's practice.
Having some deadlifting fun
Feeling strong with these. Nailed a bunch of sets of 10 with 405 pounds. Here's the final set. After this I nailed my 100 reps of squats with 425 pounds. Hit it in 6 sets of 15 and 1 sets of 10. Then, called it a night.

Good Old School Bodyweight Dips
Decided to hit some good old school bodyweight dips. Did four sets with 60 seconds of rest in between sets. Nailed 35, 30, 25 and 20 reps respectively. Here's set number 3: After this hit 4 sets of body flies on the jungle gym, 3 sets of isometric chest work, 6 sets of Eagle flexes, 3 sets of French Presses and a good isometric midsection session. Great day of practice.

720 degree jump spins
Having a blast finishing up practice this morning. Hitting a few sets of 720 degree jump spins. They got a little sloppy, but they were a blast to do.
Straigh leg lever to handstand
Working on different handstand entries this morning (kick up, straddle up, bent leg press up, cartwheel up, etc.) and decided to video the straight leg lever up. Used a slight hop to get the movement started, but not bad at all.
Some good old read delt raises
After nailing 100 reps of military presses it was rear delt raise time. Nailed a strong 3 sets of 10 on each side with the 88 pound kettlebell. Felt good. Afterwards, finished off the night with some good isometric work for the biceps and 6 sets of leiderman presses. Great training night.

Handspring to dive roll and dive roll to headspring
My other combos from this morning. Handsprings to dive rolls and dive rolls to headsprings. Felt fun and awesome
Butterfly kicks to 1-arm cartwheel and 1-arm cartwheels to butterfly kicks
First day back to combination work. After hitting my 1-arm cartwheels, aerial cartwheels, etc. I hit a few sets of a few combos. Here's the first ones: butterfly kick to 1-arm cartwheel and 1-arm cartwheel to butterfly kick. Felt pretty good. And yes, I did do them on both sides, lol. Whew, loud wind!
Finishing off the 100 pull ups a day for 30 days challenge
Finishing off the 30 day pull up challenge with this set. Over the past 30 days I've hit 100 pull ups each day on top of anything else I was doing in morning practice or evening training. Some days I hit between 150-200 pull ups, but everyday I hit at least 100. Awesome stuff. Strength and endurance improved. My back, biceps and forearms improved. Mental toughness improved. Overall conditioning improved. An awesome challenge. Here's the final 20 reps. Man, those Jungle Gym handles make a lot of noise when they hit the door frame, lol!
100 reps of squats with 405 pounds
From Monday night's training: 100 reps with 405 pounds on the bar. Hit my 100 with 1 set of 17, 4 sets of 15, 1 set of 13 and a final set of 10. Here's the final set. Of course, my beautiful bride nailed her 100 reps with 305 pounds on the bar in 5 sets of 20!! We finished up with some heavy deadlifting, weighted lunges and 1-legged leg curl/hip thrusts. Awesome night!!

Love the Atlas Push up
Finished off the practice with 100 pull ups, isometric neck work, 100 back of wrist push ups and 100 Atlas push ups. Here's the final set of the Atlas ones. Love these, great for the chest and shoulder girdle. The key is to go as deep as possible in the bottom position, really get that stretch.
Firstday working on these
First day working on handstands to straddle planches. Felt pretty good. Here's the final set. Trying my darndest to keep the elbows straight and the hollow position. Not bad though for the first day
Rings combo is getting pretty easy
Great practice this morning. The rings combo is feeling pretty easy, still room to improve, but feeling pretty easy. Looks like it might be time to ramp it up on this one. Here's the final set of these.

Working the Read delt raises hard
After hitting my 100 reps of Behind the Neck Strict Presses with 140 pounds it was real delt raise time. Jumped u-p to the 88 pounders for these tonight and hit 3 sets of 10 on each side. Felt awesome. Here's the final set.
Great midsection stuff!!
Great training last night. 100 reps of BTN strict presses, 3 sets of rear delt raises for each sie, 3 sets of isometrics curls for each side and this finisher for the midsection. Without rest you hit 10 good mornings, 8 rollouts, 10 good mornings, 8 roll outs, 10 good mornings and 8 rollouts. This was the final set of the night. Felt awesome.
Russian Split Jump Fun!!
It was getting to the end of this morning's practice and I wasn't ready to stop yet. So, I threw in a couple of sets of Russian Split Jumps. Here's the final set. Felt pretty good.
